On this day in history…

Actually, I doubt this happened on this day in history, and there is probably no scientific way to prove it, but at some point, 100 million years ago (they say), this spider was going to eat this wasp and was rudely interrupted by a flow of tree resin that trapped them both in time and space.

It would be awesome if they could take the DNA from these two insects and then clone them. They could make a theme park around the bugs. People would travel from all over the world to see 100 million year old bugs. It would be amazing, as long as the bugs didn’t break free and attack the unsuspecting tourists.

100-MILLION-YEAR-OLD SPIDER ATTACK FOUND IN AMBER

UPDATE: As it turns out, my dreams of a 100 million year old insect theme park will not ever be made a reality unless God chooses to make it so.

DNA has a 521-year half-life
