Another Answered Prayer

This will be a short post.

As I mentioned last week, I started my journey as a tech blogger with AndroidGuys a little over a week ago. Currently, I am focused on writing about smartwatches and wearables on their site, SmarterWatching. The position is unpaid, but great for experience, and exposure.

On Friday, I was praying, and re-affirming that I trust that God has got our finances under control. I try not to worry when I look at our financial forecast, but it is difficult when you see the numbers turn from black to red at the end of the year.

A few hours after that prayer, I (and another guy) got the following email from my editor at AndroidGuys,

Hey guys, I am pushing you through from Contributor status to Author. You’ll both be able to publish on your own and schedule things out ahead of time. I’ll continue to keep an eye on things and provide feedback, but, otherwise, you’re kicking ass.

I expect to get you onto payroll for October and going forward. Also, would either of you be interested in expanding roles to AndroidGuys, too?
I still don’t know the details on how much I’ll be paid, but it’s per post. So the more I write, the better. God has provided, yet again, and confirmed, yet again, that chasing after your dreams, and trusting Him, can lead to success. I know there are bound to be rough patches ahead, but I also know that each rough patch will be an opportunity to put more and more trust in His plan, and His will for my life.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NLT)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
